Dr.
Michael Purcell is a native of Pueblo, Colorado. In 1993, Dr.
Purcell earned his dental degree from Creighton University in Omaha,
Nebraska. Dr. Purcell was awarded the Quintessence Award for academic
achievement and the Operative Award for excellence in practice teaching.
After graduation, he returned to Pueblo to practice general dentistry for
three years. In 1996, Dr. Purcell was accepted to a hospital base
pediatric dental program at the University Of Nebraska Medical Center in
Omaha, Nebraska. Dr. Purcell's studies consisted of oral management of
bone marrow transplant patients, pediatric medicine, oral surgery,
anesthesiology and he was a member of the cleft lip and palate team at
Boys Town. Dr. Purcell presented his research project on
preventative dentistry at the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry in
San Diego, CA.
Dr. Purcell is a proud member of the American Dental
Association (ADA) and American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry.
He enjoys golfing, fishing and water skiing. He and
his wife D'Arcy have one daughter, Meghan.
